The 2012/2013 school year registration packets for Kindergarten through 8th grade were sent home today. If your child did not get one, you can pick up a packet at the front desk. I will also be attaching the information to the Parent Reminder this week. Registration forms and fees are due by March 1st.
Creation Class – Cat Flaherty will be starting her next Art session on Wednesday, February 22nd after school. Creation Class is where 2nd – 8th grade students can express themselves through different types of media such as painting, collage, pastels and more! The inspiration for this class is Genesis 1 when God “created”! Classes will begin after school on Wednesday, February 22nd. Students must be picked up at 4:30pm. Each class is $15. Payment is due at the beginning of each class. The schedule for lessons is as follows: Watercolor Magic from February through March and Mixed Media from April through May. The first class is free if you bring all necessary supplies (attached)! Please sign up at the front desk if you are interested. We need at least 5 signed up for the class.
Last Chance to order a yearbook! – If you didn’t order a yearbook at the beginning of the year and you still want to, now is your chance! I am attaching a copy of the last yearbook order form. The order and payment of $25 must be in to the school office by Friday, February 17th. No late orders will be taken!

BOX TOPS FOR EDUCATION DUE!! – Parents, we want to thank you for everyone that has donated their Box Tops for Education to our school. So far this year we have made a little over $300 turning in the box tops. We are a little behind where we were last year so we are trying to make it fun by attaching some collection sheets for the kids to fill in. Each collection sheet has 10 spaces on it. The kids can tape or glue their box tops on these sheets and then color them and turn them into the school office. All box tops are due by February 25th.
Staff appreciation meeting – Jenn Humes and a few others will be sitting in the school lobby after school a few days to get parents to sign up to help out with different things for the Staff Appreciation Week. Please be sure to stop by and see Jenn and the others to see how you can help them out.
Oldies But Goodies Basketball Game
Our annual oldies but goodies basketball game will be held on Friday, February 17th at 6:00pm. The class with the most attendance to the game will win a free dress down day! Stay tuned for more details.
